Been away on vacation for 3 weeks and things have changed a lot dramatically. Various NBA players such as KD, Josh Smith, Lamarcus Aldridge, Amare Stoudemire, Chris Bosh.. etc have unleashed their new signatures / PE colorways of sneakers. Westbrook rumored to get an endorsement with Adidas but ended up signing Nike, been juicing with a PE Super Fly during several pre-season games.

But none of the above were as excited as the departure of D. Wade from the Jordan brand to Li-Ning, an athlete sports wear brand from China, found by the former Chinese gymnast Li Ning. Fly Wade 2 EV - Red / Black / White

I still haven’t completed my Wade 2 review yet after all this time. But if you’re smart, and have been reading closely enough you should sense that the Wade 2 is by far my #1 preference of performance kicks. Not only its overall sleekness, its tight hug to my feet, responsiveness under pressure, and comfortability in general should definitely be rated #1, at least for the ones I have tried up until first half of 2012.

Fly Wade 2 - All Star

I always like the way D Wade plays on the court. High basketball IQ, always predicting things happening around him, constantly staying calm under situations. I find his personality has also reflected on the Wade II. Not only this is by far the best performance shoes imo, it differentiated from others by replacing neither Zoom or Air Max with awesome Lunarlon cushion. It’s also a calm shoe with simple, subtle but explosive stylish design unlike other bulky ones like LBJ 9. The All Star is just another gorgeous colorway that impressed me a lot.

Fly Wade 2 Christmas

After being with Converse for 6 years since he was drafted D Wade made the move by scoring a deal with Jordan Brand. Bot that it wasn't nice but never too much a fan of the Cons. The move was also supported by many folks since Cons was bought out by Nike, it makes sense to enhance the brand image to have such a great player joining. Since then D Wade's signature shoes have always been uniquely designed and paying attention to every detail. Jordan 2010 was simple, straight to the point. Then the Fly Wade was introduced as the lightest shoes ever for the Jordan brand with only 13oz and I almost pissed my pant.

The Marquette Golden Eagle's Fly Wade II is finally here. Inspired by former Dwayne Wade's Marquette University colorway, university gold builds most of the hyperfuse upper shaving off weight, midnight navy takes care of the midsole, heel panel and tongue. The inner-sole was designed to mold the shape of your feet to make it personalized fit, we'll see how it goes since I have not tried balling with any pair of my Wade II yet.
