I found the Lebron 8 is a mixed in between the good and bad. The royal blue does make the shoes stands out where the white red is kinda too plain and unattractive. My favourite on the royal blue 8 is the eyes on the big lion logo dotted in blue, you can actually see it from a distance.
LBJ was wearing this royal blue 8 during the post season last year. First impression about the 8 was slightly bulkier than the 7 but able to maintain its sleekness. Hyperfuse in royal blue constructed upper where black takes care of majority of accenting.
Zoom bag under the forefoot and Air Max 180 at the heel which sits atop a dual colored rubber outsole. A carbon fiber plate was also installed in the mid-foot area reinforcing between the forefoot and heel. Lots of Fuse material used making it very light weight while maintaining it's durability. By speculating it should be quite durable without creasing too much.
This is one of the very few cw I like on the 8. Others are either too plain or dark making it a weird match. However it is definitely a thumbs up for the material and overall quality as Nike has gone complete down hill when it comes to that. Looking forward to see improvements on other lines.
